About University: – North Gujarat University was established in 17-05-1986. patan was first Headquarter of the University. Patan is known as a historical place. It was the Capital City of a large kingdom Ruled by Solanki Rulers. It is the Birth place of Great thinker and philosopher Hemachandracharya. The lake of shahastralinga and khansarovar, The RANI-VAV, the great architectural momentum, The Jain Temple of Panchasra is the glory of the place.
Ahmadabad is the Headquarter of the University now. It is one of the largest University of Gujarat State.Its total area of land is 212.50 acres. It compasses for districts- Mehsana, Patan, Bnaskantha and sabarkantha. The economy of the Area is Agricultural based.
NAAC has Graded the University with “B” (CGPA) last year.
