Students are expected to do well in chemistry and biology as the test was easier than that of last year where as physics question paper was tough compared to the previous year. Maths question paper contained the typographical errors which created the confusion among the students due to which 3 to 25 extra marks for some of the questions would be provided to students depending on their respective answer sheets.
Education board has taken this initiative this year to declare the results as soon as possible to give enough time to students and parents to think over the right higher education courses as per the results secured by students as there is no common entrance test in Tamil Nadu for admission into the professional courses like engineering and medicine.
